Dragon Knight Guide

Hey folks,

I am very proud to present you my first of hopefully many hero guides for Dota 2. My first guide focuses on Dragon Knight, an awesome, rather simple hero.

The dragon knight has a rather simple skillset of which one is passive and three active. His skillset is as follows:

Breathe of Fire: This core ability allows the dragon knight to spit a cloud of fire at the enemy creeps and heroes with a range of 500

Dragon Tail: Whit Dragon Tail, the dragon knight can spite an enemy unit in melee range with his shield, stunning it while dealing minor damage. In Elder Dragon form, the cast range is increased to 400

Dragon Blood: The only passive skill of Dragon Knight allows him to improve his health regeneration and strengthens his armor

Elder Dragon Form: The Dragon knight can take the form of three powerful elder dragons. At first level he can take the form of a green dragon dealing ranged poison damage over time on attack. At level two, the red dragon deals splash damage on attack. At the final level, the blue dragon deals splash damage and frost attack that slows enemy units.
Skill Build Order

In any case, you should first invest one skillpoint into dragon tail, which makes you an extremely dangerous carry in the early game. Dragon tail is one of the most dangerous level one stuns of all heroes! After that you should directly invest in Dragon blood, just to give you that important extra little life regen and armor for laning. One of the most important skills is breathe of fire, your nuke ability, which you should max out as fast as possible. Breathe of fire is great against multiple creeps or enemy heroes and enables the dragon knight to harrass early on. At level six, the elder dragon form, lets you rock your lane and easily disable enemy towers with your ranged attack. The elder dragon form boosts your movement speed, cast range on your stun and attack range, which makes him such a powerful carry!
